just the three of us
may, june, & july 2005
may brought marleys third birthday!  joon and i couldnt believe that three years had gone by so fast, but its true.  
this year instead of a big party marley invited his best friend, tulio, to the zoo for the day and over for some nemo
cake and ice cream after.  the two boys had so much fun running through the oakland zoo and riding the rides
after.  it was so special to watch and i am still annoyed at myself for somehow erasing the pictures from that day.  
marley got a tee ball set for his birthday and has been having a blast with it out in the back yard.  
early june brought with it many happenings at the renaissance school, one of which is the annual art show they
have for the kids.  here is marley with his two pieces that were featured in the gallery.  one is called, walrus with
big long teeth, and the other is an untitled paper sculpture.  
the pictures below are from fathers day which we celebrated at del valle reservoir.  joon had wanted to go fishing
but they were out of licenses for the day, so he was out of luck. but since marley is just a little guy he was allowed
to fish so we spent the day watching him enjoy himself and having a picnic lunch.  i am about eight and a half
months pregnant in these pictures.
at this point, time is just flying by.  
between the end of the year at school
and this pregnancy and keeping up
with things around the house there
doesnt seem to be time for much else.
 we have mangaged to have some
good times throughout the craziness
though!  dad came out for a visit over
the long fourth of july weekend and
somehow we managed to cram in a
trip to the zoo, a baseball game,
fireworks, a day in san francisco, and
some shopping.  all that on top of
eating really well and hanging out
here at home.  joon was gone for half
of the weekend to a wedding in la
(congrats lauren and jerry!) and dad
came out so i wouldnt spend the
weekend by myself so close to the
end of the pregnancy, just in case.

months pregnant wandering around in
the redwood forest by our house with
marley and joon.
